Homework. Why was it invented?

people say that homework was invented to help people learn, improve their skills in what ever area they are studying.
Me i say that they invented it to annoy everyone!
The students find it annoying because we have to complete it, wasting our time. We spend hours working away at it until we finish only to find out that it was only a quater of what we were suppost to complete. Seriously? Who does that to people?

Then there are the teachers. They say its for the best. Really? All it is, is a pain for them as well. hey have to read, correct, cheack again, grade it and put it in a book and then repeat the process for the rest. I mean they already have alot on their mind trying to decide what to do in the next class.

Another thing is if we have to do work at home for school what the whole point of having a place where we gather to study (school), why can't we have an internet chat room or something.


If you're wondering why i am writing this i am putting off writing a speach for tommorrow that i completely forgot about.


I really should go.
